It took the people in this small town time to get used to me.
It was pretty funny when I decided to move to a small town.
I didn’t particularly consider the fact that everybody in the town knows one another.
I am from a pretty big city and I am used to that kind of life. Honestly though, I just wanted to get away from that lifestyle and enjoy fresh air out in the country for a change. I have my own successful online business. I am working all of the time, even though I work from my home. When I first moved into this small town, neighbors were friendly, but they seemed suspicious of me. I would have packages delivered to my house all of the time, but that’s normal for me. When I would have neighbors visit, I had people ask me why I have packages delivered all of the time like that. I thought it was funny when they thought I was some kind of drug dealer or something. After all, I had my house built from scratch and it is a nice home. I also had the place hooked up with radiant radiant floors plus an energy efficient cooling system. The icing on the cake is the smart thermostat I have for my HVAC system. Nobody around this small town has anything like that plus they didn’t understand how I had so much money. I had to explain that I run my own business online and that’s how I make the giant bucks. When people got to know me, they realized that I was just a normal guy plus word spread around the town about my online business. I’ve even had people ask if they could come to work for me.
