I love my old school HVAC units and especially my record player

My kids tell me all of the time that I need to get with the modern times.

They talk trash about my record player and my old vinyl albums. They say that I should use an Mp3 player with digital music or at least CDs. I tell them how the quality of the music on the record player is just better, but they don’t understand what I am talking about. The sound of the digital music is just not the same and I don’t feel the music the same way. I feel the same about other things like classic cars and old school HVAC systems like window A/C units. I love the old school window A/C units because I feel like they were made better. Those things can run forever if you know how to take care of them. It’s the same with other types of HVAC systems and older style furnaces. I have this old gas furnace in my home that I have been using before my children were even born. They don’t understand why I won’t upgrade to some kind of fancy central HVAC system. I always have to tell them the old saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” They always come back saying that it’s just too ancient and outdated. I don’t see what the problem is, we are never freezing in the winter season. And in the summer, I have my trusty old school window A/C units around the household. Why would I pay thousands of dollars for a new HVAC system when I have old school HVAC units that work just fine?
