An HVAC technician saved my family when I was young
He was able to get the central heating system working again within the hour and then we were nice and warm again.
I remember this terrible experience when I was young. We were in the middle of a severe snowstorm and then the power went out. I was absolutely frightened because the house was starting to become really cold with no power. My mother wrapped me with a warm blanket and even with that it was freezing without the heating system working. When the power eventually came on, I thought we would be alright. Unfortunately no matter how much my father fumbled around with the thermostat, he couldn’t get the furnace to turn back on. He ended up calling for emergency HVAC services. I asked my mother if we were going to die, and she assured me that we were going to be just fine. It was a miracle when the HVAC technician showed up. He even brought some portable heaters with him so we could keep warm in front of them while he was working on the heating system. He was able to get the central heating system working again within the hour and then we were nice and warm again. It was a scary situation, but that HVAC technician was absolutely heroic. He gave me the motivation to get into the HVAC industry. I ended up going to a trade school when I graduated from high school, and since I earned my HVAC certification, I have saved countless people in a similar fashion as I was saved when I was a youngster. It’s crazy because I don’t think I would have ever gone to be an HVAC technician if it weren’t for that experience when I was young.
