It makes sense to charge more when you have a monopoly

When you have Monopoly, you definitely can charge more for your services.

If I was the only person with corn, potatoes, plus red beans, I could totally charge as much as I wished.

If I was the only car dealership in the town with trucks plus SUVs, I could raise prices as high as I want. Of course, a good amount of people would complain, but that’s capitalism. My family plus I own a unique business. All of us rent commercial plus Industrial equipment. The items in our warehouse include a/c equipment, boilers, oil furnaces, chillers, plus steam boilers. All of us rent a huge amount of these items to commercial companies all around the state. All of us also rent a little amount of items to individuals, but the bulk of our business results from commercial plus Industrial companies. All of us ship all over the country plus we easily guarantee delivery within 24 hours! Since we are the only commercial plus industrial equipment rental service in the area, we charge a great deal more for the service plus rental fees. All kinds of companies have made numerous complaints about the rates, but we need to stay competitive in order to make a healthy profit. Our rates on boilers plus chillers are higher than the national average, but it costs money to maintain the equipment! Each of our machines is worked on, cleaned, plus sanitized after each use. All of us also need a warehouse with 25,000 sqft to house all of the industrial equipment… Commercial rental equipment really does not come cheap, and when local clients see that we are the only option, it doesn’t feel like such a huge deal to spend a few more dollars.
