You would not believe how happy I am about my new HVAC system
Ever since we moved into our house five years ago, I have been begging my husband to get us a new HVAC system.
He kept putting it off and putting it off, because he just did not want to spend that much money.
I don’t know if you’ve had to replace a residential heating and cooling system lately, but it isn’t cheap to do! Anyway, it has literally taken him forever to finally decide that it’s time to put a new HVAC unit in our house. It actually took an air conditioning failure to get him to see the gravity of the situation. See, a few weeks ago, we were right in the middle of a heat wave here where we live. People were staying inside as much as possible, because the temperatures outside were just too hot to go out in. we were doing the same thing, leaving our thermostat settings at around 68 degrees and enjoying the A/C while the sun burned down outside. Then, without warning, there was a big thunk from the furnace room down in the basement and the cold air immediately stopped coming through the air vents. The house was hot again in a matter of minutes, and my husband looked at me and said that it was finally time. That’s the day that we made the appointment for the HVAC technician to come and install a new heating and cooling system. I guess sometimes it takes an A/C emergency to actually get anything done, but I’m glad the new HVAC system is finally on its way!
