The HVAC System at the Dog Kennel
I have always been a dog person.
I love dogs, and I understand completely why they are considered man’s best friend.
Even so, I will venture to say that a lot of America’s dogs are just plain spoiled rotten. Take the dog kennel near me, for example. The kennel calls itself a pet resort, first of all. Also, each dog living room has its own HVAC unit. Whether it is boiling hot or freezing cold outside, the little individualized HVAC unit keeps the dog the perfect temperature. I think they use mini split a/c units, but I’m not 100% sure. Whenever the dog runs around outside and is brought back to its kennel – excuse me, living room – he or she can relax in air-conditioned comfort. Not only is there a/c and heaters for the extremes in weather, but there are ceiling fans blowing in the breeze on the back patio. Often, the owners will make doggie frozen treats to keep the little buggers happy while their pet parents are away. Last time I went there, I asked about the HVAC systems because I noticed that there was absolutely no dog smell. They did tell me that they have a special air purifier and they use special a/c air filters to keep the smell at bay. All the place needs now is a fireplace and homemade bread baking in the oven, and it will be perfect. Haha! The place is nice and not too expensive, so I will probably bring my dog there if I ever need to go out of town. I might get that kind of a/c at my house, too!
