My daughter is consistently asking myself and others about stuff that happened back in the day.
Back in the day, I walked to school even though it was 1.9 miles away.
Even in elementary school, I walked to plus from school. No one concerned about our safety, least of all me. Back in the day,we didn’t use the way both of us do now, either. I had an aunt plus uncle who did not even have air conditioner in their house! That seems preposterous, but it is true. Aunt Bet used to have to rely on box fans plus ceiling fans, and she did not seem to be bothered that there was no , but she did prefer to come to our house, where our mom had the control unit set on 68 all the time. The people I was with and I did not grow up with much currency; our dad died unexpectedly at 40 years old, plus there were many of us kids. I was many years old, plus our oldest brother was 14, so all the rest were in-between those ages. Even so, both of us had air conditioner. I can remember how it was often strenuous for our mother to get the water bill plus electric bill paid on time several months, but both of us still were not one of those people who did not use There was no strict rule about it, even though I don’t think any of us kids ever thought about touching the control unit. I don’t remember ever giving it a minute thought, but looking back, IK realize both of us were lucky despite the fact that both of us were not the richest folks in town. Somehow, our mom did amazing things, including keeping us all fed, buying her own house, plus using air conditioner when not all the people took that for granted.
