Air conditioning in maternity wards froze out our friend’s husband

Hospitals also use air filtration systems to prevent the spread of airborne diseases

One of our best friend’s, Lauren offered birth to a beautiful baby boy Last monthin a hospital. She was severely prepared for the hospital because it was his fifth time giving birth. She had his hospital bin packed for weeks with everything he needed. She said when he got to the hospital he was super grateful for the air conditioning because his contractions were making his sweat. She said that the pain was so brutal that it raised his body temperature. His husband was certainly grateful that he packed a sweatshirt & sweatpants because the air conditioning was blasting in the hospital room. My other friend, Carlie is pregnant & is due at the end of July, but lauren told Carlie to double check his hospital bin & make sure he packs a sweatshirt for his husband who gets frosty entirely entirely because the air conditioning will be so strong in the hospital room. Different hospitals use strange types of cooling systems depending on the area of the hospital & the style of room. Hospitals may use window unit cooling systems, split cooling system, packaged cooling system, or central cooling systems. Hospitals also use air filtration systems to prevent the spread of airborne diseases. No matter what style of air conditioning is used in hospitals, men are often grateful for air conditioning when they are giving birth. For men or family members that are waiting in the hospital when babies are being born, they may get frosty however they have to understand it’s important for the health of the mother & the baby to have an air conditioned environment.
